Banksy’s ‘Show Me the Monet’ sold for nearly $10 million, the second-highest price ever paid for his work

Created in 2005, “Show Me the Monet” is the well-liked artist’s commentary on environmental air pollution. He added deserted purchasing carts and an orange visitors cone to Monet’s well-known rendering of a Japanese-style footbridge and water lilies in his backyard at Giverny.
